Personal data is processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679), any specific national and European legislation for certain sectors, the applicable Greek legislation for the protection of personal data, as well as for the protection of personal data and privacy in the electronic communications sector (Law 3471/2006, as amended) and the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Authority (PDA).

Transmission of personal data

When sending parcels and deliveries of translation work, we transmit your name, address, telephone number and email address to the carriers and – where applicable, the order processor – with whom we have contracted, in order to fulfil the delivery and to contact you to inform you and agree the delivery.

The legal basis for the data processing associated with this arises from Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, provided you have given us your explicit consent. Where the processing of data is necessary for the fulfilment of the contractually agreed delivery of goods, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. In addition, the legal basis for the processing of data linked to this is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (balancing of interests, based on our own interests, to provide you with a smooth delivery at times that are best for you).

We delete all of the aforementioned data at the latest after confirmed delivery and payment for the requested translation work, provided that we are not obliged or entitled under law to store this data any further.

For the processing of payments, we transfer your payment data to the designated credit institution or payment service selected during the ordering process.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links or references to other websites owned by third parties over which our Company has no control. Similarly, access to our Website may also be obtained through links found on third party websites which are beyond our Company’s control. Our Company does not warrant or make any promise as to the accuracy, currency or completeness of the information contained in these websites and shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by the content or information contained therein. With regard to personal data which we store for sending newsletters, offers, their retention is for as long as we are legally entitled to do so by virtue of your explicit consent. In general, in case of withdrawal of consent, we are obliged to permanently delete the personal data for which your consent has been withdrawn.
